This year to honour Movember, the BRS hosted two events on the 28th November in collaboration with the PGAC.
A huge thank you to Prof. William Watson from University College Dublin, who gave a fantastic talk titled “Clinical and Scientific dilemmas of the diagnosis and treatment of Prostate Cancer”. It was great to hear about the challenges of prostate cancer in Ireland from one of the leaders in the field!
We also hosted a Movember Quiz Night fueled by FireHouse Pizza and jellys with lots of moustache related questions, all to fundraise for this brilliant charity. Thank you to everyone who came along and helped us raise over €150 for Movember Ireland and a huge congratulations to our winning team “Hoegaarden Rocks!”
