We’re delighted to announce that our 16th Annual BRS Research Day will be taking place on Wednesday 16th April 2025 in XG14, and our abstract call is now open until 5pm Friday 4th April. Just fill out the Google form below.
The BRS Research Day is a great opportunity for postgraduate students and early career researchers to present their work in a casual environment and to see and discuss the breadth of research taking place across the School of Biotechnology and LSI. 1st year PhDs, research assistants and research masters students can discuss their work with a five minute ‘Flash Five’ presentation, 2nd and 3rd year PhDs with a 10 minute talk, and 4th year PhDs with a 15 minute presentation. Researchers at all levels, from undergraduate to postdoc, are invited to submit posters.
We would particularly like to encourage:
1. Research and taught MSc students to attend and get a feel for the research going on in the school; and
2. 4th year undergraduate students to attend and present a poster describing their final year projects (so PI’s, please encourage your FYPs to take part) – as an added incentive, we’re giving out two poster prizes this year: one for postgraduates/postdocs etc. and one for undergraduates!
